Bowie Brewing Company: Engineered for Flavor, Crafted with Passion

In 2015, two sons gifted their dad a homebrew kit. What began as a hobby quickly fermented into a full-blown obsession. Fueled by a shared passion for craft beer, Rich and his sons, Andrew and Tyler—each degreed mechanical engineers—began experimenting with IPAs. Our motto? “Beer, Engineered Better.”

As the excitement bubbled over, so did the team. Kit, Kristen, and Laura joined their partners in the brewing adventure. Brielle got into the action with our first hard seltzer, Bitchn’ Black Cherry Lime and kept rolling with several popular ciders. Then to celebrate the wedding, Brayden and Megan got into the action helping to craft STRONGBOWie Hard Cider. And now, Brielle’s boyfriend Logan joined in, transforming BBC into a true family affair. Our beers are like family to us—each one crafted with care, creativity, and a splash of personality. As our crew grew, so did our offerings, expanding to include crisp ciders and refreshing hard seltzers.

At BBC, we see craft beer as more than a beverage—it’s an art form, a lifestyle, and a personal expression. Every batch is a new experience, every flavor a fresh idea, and every label a story waiting to be shared. We use only the finest ingredients to brew our beverages that we’re proud to pour for our friends and family. Yes, there’s been plenty of blood, sweat, tears—and a few glorious messes in the brewing kitchen—but that’s all part of the journey.

Collaboration is our secret ingredient. Whether we’re dreaming up the next recipe, designing a label, or brewing a batch, we do it together—with a pint of BBC in hand and a smile on our face. Because for us, the best memories aren’t about the destination—they’re made in the process. Trust the Process!

Eleanor Roosevelt said it best:

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”

That’s the spirit of BBC. We love what we brew—and we hope you do too.

They say “beer is not the answer” At BBC we think beer is the QUESTION. YES is the answer!
